Are Marmaids and the half-horse half-man real?

The half-man, half-horse are called Centaur. Most mythological creatures are spawned from greek, celtic, nordic, and egyptian mythology.

As for if they are real or not, well, that's really a matter of opinion. In my personal opinion, I don't necessarily believe they are real. I'm sure most scientific folk would agree that they do not exist. However, I don't like to think that it's impossible. I'm really interested in Greek mythology and I believe that maybe in some other 'realm' or whatever, the mythological creatures may exist. You never know, you could die and end up somewhere full of Pegasus, Mermaids, Centaur, Unicorns, Phoenix, Fairies and more.

Nothing is impossible.

Tikbalang Main article: Tikbalang A Tikbalang. A Tikbalang. Tikbalang or tigbalang (demon horse) is a half-man and half-horse creature. It has a horse's head, the body of a human but with the feet of the horse. It travels at night to rape female mortals. The raped women will then give birth to more tikbalang. They are also believed to cause travelers to lose their way particularly in mountainous or forest areas.[1] Tikbalangs are very playful with people, and they usually make a person imagine things that aren't real. Sometimes a Tikbalang will drive a person crazy. Legends say that when rain falls while the sun is shining, a pair of Tikbalangs are being wed. Since horses only arrived in the Philippine archipelago during the Spanish invasion (thus, the borrowed term 'kabayo'), there is a theory that the image of a half-horse, half-man creature was propagated by the conquistadors to keep the natives afraid of the night. There are stories claiming that the Tikbalang are actually half-bird, half-man creatures, much like the Japanese tengu.

Um...no, today there are no such things as Mermaids and Centaurs, to our knowledge. HOWEVER, Coloumbus and a bunch of other explorers thought that these fat animals Manatees were mermaids. lmao. (If you've never seen one, they're these fat gray things that swim around near FLorida). So, they recorded Mermaids sightings in their little journals saying, "They're certainly not as beautiful as we thought they would be!"
Also, there was this big controversy about a japanese fisher that claimed he found a merman. Unfortunately, years later they found out that it was just a monkeys torso attached to a fish.
As for centaurs, never heard any sightings of those, sorry.

If they are, they do not exists anymore.
Most likely... if they did exist, humans killed them off, thinking they were freaks of nature.
Hope this helps.
