It's a 1998 Audi A4.
The windshield on the passenger's side got a minor crack but it's starting to spider out. If anyone can help me find a way to either stop the crack at it's current minor stage or at least slow it down so I can still drive it and have more time to save money to fix it.

A good auto glass shop should be able to stop it from getting any worse. The ideal situation would have been for you to take it to them immediately, though. Don't know how much good they can do at this point. Good Luck!

I just bought a repair kit from the hardware store for the very same thing! It says it will fix a crack 12" or less in length. Lets hope it works! Good luck. oh it was under $10 bucks.

I'm not completely sure it works but that same thing happened to me and my ex boyfriend's brother ran a razor blade across the end of the crack in the opposite direction (like if its vertical run horizontal, you know). Now I say I'm not completely sure because I was in a car accident a couple months after. But it seemed to be working.
Let me know how it works out for you.

What I usually do is take the windshield out completely but that adds a lot of wind plus bugs.

Go to NAPA and get a window patch kit. That'll at least slow it down for a awhile.

There's not really anything you can do to fix it or slow it down.

Contact your insurance company. You may be covered and only have to pay a deductible.

However, remember that any insurance claim may affect your rates.
