Beats the heck out of me. One doctor said it was no big deal. Another doctor said lose some weight (still had them). Another doctor said, "You are bleeding where!?! You are getting a colonscope immediately."--the verdict? Hemorrhoids.

I've heard preparation H, but everyone I know who uses it has to use it all the time, which doesn't exactly prove to me that it works. I've heard there are surgeries. The ones that just had them shaved off told horrible tales (They pull the anus out like folding over an eyelid, then shave the polyps and turn things back inside). In one type they somehow "microwave" the growth and it dies and drops off. And in another they use rubber bands to choke it off--which is a hoot to me because one doctor told me that I only have to worry if they "become strangulated".

Good luck.

Quit putting things in it. It is an exit only and don't sit on the can
reading for a long time. Take a nice hot bath.

There is an operation to "cure"them, but my understanding is that it is very painful. Preparation H sooths them if they are inflamed. Finally, you should consult a doctor about what to do. Maybe the operation is for you. Who knows??

Chow!!
