I just started my period today and I don't want to still be on it on Saturday. Is there any way that I can make it stop by then? I usually last about a week and I'm on birth control.

I'm a bad bleeder. Sometimes you might have to take a birth-control pill. that's what i had to do.

I don't think there is anything you can do to shorten it. If there was, I would have shortened mine a lot time ago. Just drink lots of water and exercise on a regular basis and at least you'll feel better. Good luck!

If you're on the pill you can just start taking the pills that don't make you have your period. Start a new month. If you don't like my idea, there's always excersizing.

good question! i really don't know. i think your best hope would be to restart your pills- this won't hurt you- but do confirm the safety with your md or gyn. i'd ask your md or gyn too to make sure there's nothing else you could do or to confirm that restarting your pills at this time won't put you in danger of pregnancy. just because i do it all the time doesn't mean it is necessarily the best thing to do.
