Ok, so this is her choice, but can anyone tell me why these wealthy people don't adopt from the States?
Seems to me there are more than enough unwanted children in the USA that need a good home with way too much money to spend.
To me it appears that these "celebrities" are ignoring the need in their own country while basically making most of their money from the citizens they are ignoring.

Okey Dokey Joey...I don't give a flyin' F about raisingmalawi.com. Why doesn't she do more for the US. And if it was all about me as claimed this kind of BS wouldn't bother me---get a grip on yourself, it will be ok.

Chandi---can you please tell me who is taking care of the kids in the US? So what you are saying is there is not any children in the US that need adopted or parents that would actually care for them?

You make a good point. I feel that she is doing or shall I say copying that young lady that Brad Pitt is married to. You are right there are alot of kids that need help here in the USA why go a cross the world to adopt. May be this is another publicity stunt. Since Madonna made the announcement her picture has been on TV none stop.

First of all I'd like you to know about raisingmalawi.com
It's a project that she is founding to help houndreds of orphan in Malawi. Most of you don't even know of this country. She is not adopting a child from this country because it's a cool thing to do if you're a celebrity. She wanted this baby, no matter what. She wanted so much this project to work and I think the baby was just the next step. Let's leave her alone!!!
Try for just one second to think about those children... not you! Not what might be right or could be wrong. Think what is GOOD.

Well they see themselves as world citizens.sorry but this country is wealthy enough to take care of these children.Madonna got her child from a country that is so poor that the chances of a child like hers making it to teenage is 50/50.besides,what are all those pro-lifers doing not adopting these babies?paying lip service is not enough.

I think no one has the right to tell you were and who you should adopt. Sorry but that's my point of view. Maybe she was watching a documentary about that country and felt she needed to do this. Maybe its just publicity only god knows and only god can judge me.

Look, stars are really flaky people. They're always out running around trying to shock everyone, and one-up their fellow celebs. If we don't pay attention to them, maybe they'll disappear!

Lets face it, it makes a person look more like they are doing humanitarian work and draws more attention to themselves that way. I think she is trying to re-invent herself yet once again. The CD will follow in about a year.

dont you think theres much more to life than wealth ? and im telling u the kids in US have someone or some people taking care of them and remember she might feel its right for her i mean it is her heart and mind !
