Without getting religious, life has no meaning. What is the point of procreation? It just creates more mouths to feed, more strain on the finite amount of resources on the Earth. What's the point? To hasten our demise?

It's not so much a meaning to life as a meaning to your life. The end answer would be different for virtually everyone. The idea is to find what fulfills you, what is YOUR purpose.
Whatever gives you a sense of meaning, that is your purpose. If you don't have anything in your life that gives you a sense of meaning, you need to seek it out. Half of the meaning lies in the search for meaning.

Life and living allows us to grow and learn and each of us plays a part in the piece of the puzzle/plan that is going on. We are here for a reason and we are all connected by our humanity. Sometimes we cannot see the reasons and we need to have the faith and hope to sustain us as we go along into the unknown. Generally, life is a mystery, we need to solve it for each of us.

A baby's first smile. YOUR baby's first smile at YOU. Anticipation of what colors will be in the trees in your back yard each fall, and which flowers will bloom first each Spring. A kiss from your doggy, and the look on his face when he's put out in the Winter's first snow...the laughter from the kids in the neighborhood mixed in with the sounds of water play in the Summer.
A kiss from your spouse in the morning and one at night. Reassurance of love when you tuck your children in at night, and the look in their eyes when you do it.
Watching the sun set over the ocean, and watching it rise the next day...knowing there's a promise of a new day to enjoy your life's many blessings.
