I have no problems with a female president, as they can be just as good or bad as any man

Sure, I'd vote for a chick for president, why the hell not. A female CHIMPANZEE would do a better job than our current president. My fear is that the first non-white or non-male elected to that office will be VERY, VERY CONSERVATIVE. There are so many ignorant, prejudice people out there, and for a non-white-male to be able to appeal to them, he or she will have to be slightly to the right of Adolf Hitler. For ignorant people (I'm betting at least one idiot will respond to this question: "Do you really want someone who bleeds once a month to have her finger on the button") it's too much to be both liberal and a woman. While I'd like to see a chick in the Oval Office, I'd rather she not be ******* Condi Rice!

Of course! Why not?

A lady can be President just as a man. I'm looking forward to seeing one so that it would be a good example for my little girl.

One catch...the first one needs to be awesome, inspiring a solid unifying leader to set the pace for future female Presidents. We would need this to terminate the comments from idiots that think counter to a female President from the onset.

I would just like to say that a lot of women talk a good game of wanting to be equal with men...... but few i have seen have put on the hard hat and boots to do the job .Oh wait you are talking about corporate America where the women gain power and work the poor men to death as usual lol But seriously if there is a woman who steps up and and can do the job why not...

Dream on, I remember Indhira Gandhi, Golda Meir and Margaret Thatcher. They were all more hard-nosed than any male counterpart, all extremists and whilst they may have done some good, they also did irrevocable harm to their countries.
In addition, I am presuming this is the glee of American Females at the rise and rise of St Hilary; in which case, she didn't have the balls to leave her husband who publicly humiliated her with his sexual activities, she was also tarnished by the 'Whitewatergate' scandal, so is probably a bad example for the feminist movement to back.
If you are going to elect a woman, and why not, then at least pick one worth voting for.

No. Although I am a female, I don't agree w/ having a female president. We, as women, on average, tend to judge and rule w/ emotions than w/ reason. We tend to go more on gut feelings than w/ facts. Not all of us, mind you, just the good majority of us. But then, that's just my opinion.

I think we need a single, black, female President! Then just wait and see what happens when the press tries to get up in her face. They will cancel reality TV for the chance to play the footage, and everyone will feel alot better in the end. Except for the poor pressman who made the mistake.

There have been several females in power over the course of time and they have all done quite well. Perhaps a woman running the U.S. may put the country in a better political standing with its non-allies, as women make very good negotiators.

Oh, and by the way Big Daddy, women are not always governed by their hormones, as men are by their penises

i actually do no longer care if that's a black guy or white lady or black lady or the different blend. The interest has to flow to a guy or woman who cares relating to the want of the persons! If it would be Hillary, i'm hoping she DOES get advice from bill. His journey can purely be an asset... you wont be getting any help from Michelle Obama. there is not any way Hillary might enable bill Clinton run the tutor. She's her very own guy or woman together with her very own recommendations on how issues ought to be executed and what individuals want.

Anyone who thinks we won't have a non-white and/or non-male president in this lifetime is living in a dream world.

It will happen.

Do I agree? I will support the candidate whose political ideologies are mostly closely aligned with mine, regardless.
