The saddest day of my life was when my dad left for Iraq. It was the worst hour in my life and I felt so empty inside. That was two years ago. He's home now :)

The day I had to tell my mom her best friend died in a fire.
It was an awful experience. I have had other sad experiences in life and i am sure i will have more in my lifetime. The thing to know is that you are are not alone with your feelings, and it is okay to cry. I'm sorry if you are feeling sad today.. Tomorrow and the days to follow will get a little easier.

There are too many to count...in my 32 years I have had my share...the day I learned my my father died (the same night I received my college ring) or when I broke up with the love of my life, Mr. Right, who I just knew I was going to marry and love me like no other....that hurt.
We heal and go on and have more joys and more sorrows in our life....it a part of life...

The day I grew up. I miss the freedom I had as a child, or at least life that was essentially carefree. I don't think children today even have that. That's really sad.

I hope that sad day was the saddest, because I don't want any sadder, or even as sad!

The day my wife confronted me on the affair I was having. My daughter was 4 years at the time, standing beside her, clutching her skirt, eyes wide, scared, wondering why Daddy was with another woman.
As they left, my daughter walked up to me and said "Daddy, please don't leave me".
I ended my affair that night and went back to my family. But the picture of my daughter standing there haunts me to this very day. And this happened 3 years ago.
