There's this girl who went out with a guy for a week and then met his cousin. So she dumped that one guy and started going out with his cousin. Some people think it's just messed up. Be honest, does that sound messed up? why?

I think its a little messed up. I mean you konw that hurt her poor boyfriend. To be dumped after a week is bad, but to be dumped after a week for your cousin must really suck. I think that the girl should have stayed with her boyfriend longer and become friends with his cousin, and waited to see what happened with the cousin and get to know him first.

Well, its a really complicated situation...all i can tell you for sure is that, you cant help who you like or love. And if you dont follow your heart, you wont be happy. But sometimes, it can happen that, when you think you´re following your heart, you might actually just be making the biggest mistake of your life....so yeah, like i said, its really complicated. And this may sound funny, but i am a strong believer of sometimes havin to somethin wrong in the short term to do somethin right in the long run...so it really does depend bout how this girl felt, who she really liked and everything.

It's not the best situation ever, but I wouldn't say it is messed up. I mean, what's a week anyway? Do you owe something to someone for having dated for a week? And it's his cousin, not his brother.

It sounds like something a typical teenager would do, but not something that would happen with a little more wisdom & maturity. There are those amazing teens out there though, that hold ethical lines very well, and those kids blow my mind.
