I feel there are three major issues facing the human race today:
1) Global Warming
2) Human Rights
3) Nuclear Disarmament.
1) Global warming will kill many of us and create vast social and political unrest unless we stop burning carbon now and start using solar, wind and other renewable sources to pull carbon out of our atmosphere at an aggressive rate. End the Iraq war now. Use American resources to create carbon sinks and propagate solar and wind power.
2) Behind Terrorism is the Islamic world's refusal to accept human rights, including Freedom of Speech. How that religion's leaders could ever be brought to accept peace, tolerance, equality, and other internationally recognized human rights is beyond me. But to end our dependence on oil would be a big step toward stopping the financing of terror.
3) The North Korean leader is paranoid and erratic and more than a little scary, not only for what he might himself detonate but for what he might sell to others. But a more serious threat is the Iranian president. If Iran obtaining nuclear weapons does not result in a limited nuclear exchange and hundreds of millions dead especially in the Middle East but perhaps also the West then I would be very surprised.
Sensible world leaders (other than those currently in power) need to be made to realize the dangers to the Human species and take steps for the common man.

The one between religions, non believers, so on. Once that's done, it just leaves money, power, corruption, moral issues, etc to blame for most other disputes. Things that could be achieved by men.

My would be to end war because it is beyond belief that educated people could go backwards into an uncivilized state of mind. Curious 2006

I would resolve peace in Afgan cas my hubby has got to go there next year with the Army!!!

The War in Iraq- beause at first ithought that we should go in there and try to help but every day tonssss of soilders are dying and we've been in there for so long. i think that we need to stop sticking our noses in other countries problems...
