if you had a gun to your head and you were forced to chose between eating a live spider..oh no im making myself ill here...or one of your own fingers,what would you choose..considering you'd get shot dead if you didn't choose within 10 seconds!over active immagination guys..soz!!

Spider, no probs, crush it with your teeth so it wont wriggle about, then chew away, unless of course you let it run around in your mouth spraying its web everywhere, then have it climb to the back of your throat up your nasal cavity and out of the end of your nose and straight back into your mouth, then chew and swallow... Whatever takes your fancy realy...

I think I would choose the consumption of the spider. I would feel sick and maybe throw up, but will still have all my limbs. I once saw some people putting spiders under their tongues for almost 15 minutes in one of the Fear Factor programmes. No harm was done and even the most timid went through the ordeal.

I'd be too worried about how I might reincarnate to decide in 10 seconds - mind you 10 seconds is a long time with a gun to your head.
You know you could probably use the live spider thing if you need to hypnotise yourself against bad habits of some kind.

Eating a spider is no big deal, probably healthier than that
Mc Donalds you consumed the other day :p
I agree with the dude below, the most useful thing a cat
ever did was fill a china mans stomach. I probably care less
about a cat than I care about my mother in law!
The first time my cat brought a dead field mouse or bird home
it would be spit roasting in the kitchin with a sweet and
sour sauce ready on the table :P.

Spiders are very nutritious, you should fry them in olive oil and you will get the full effect. As with all Nature's wonders, I'm sure they're probably pretty healthy eaten raw - so I'd go for the spider.
After all, if I ate my finger how would I type answers to questions?

I'll take the spider, no contest! I need all of my fingers and it would take longer to eat a finger....not to mention the pain of chopping it off! Also, I don't think I could manage an uncooked finger with my dentures.
However, if the choice is between my finger and eating one of my cats, I'll take the finger!

I'd opt to try and get the guy with the gun, i'm not one for being forced to do things and would like to think thats what i'd do! though If you'd have made one option a little less revolting I may have been tempted!

forced into a life or death situation most people would eat the live spider,i think. however since i am usually vegetarian,i guess that if my finger had already been removed from my hand and there was no chance of it getting sown back on,,i would eat my finger,as it would already be dead.however if there was a chance of me fighting back against my captor,i would grab the gun and shoot the bastard ...

lol omg what a cool ques i would never even go near a spider i hate them i couldn't bring myself to eat my finger so id think i'de have to wait for the bullet
