I have no idea how much any of the members of the Ferrari pit crew are paid, but I can assure "backpacka" the man he sees cleaning a helmet visor does a lot more than that when the camera isn't on him.
There are plenty of dirty jobs assigned to Formula One crew members, including scrubbing down the transporters when they arrive at the circuits and parked at the back of the garage. One job involves jacking up the truck and turning the wheels so that the name and logo is at the top of the tyre/tire.

I have seen a clip of all the people involved at a pitstop and there is a guy there whos job it is just to clean the visor on the helmet. And he gets about 80,000 a year (plus travel and some nice outfits).
There is also 2 people whose job it is to stand there with a fire estinguisher incase there is a fire. THEY DON'T EVEN DO ANTHING!
I reckon I could do that.
