I have a cabbage patch doll named Charlotte Bunny ( I didn't name her they did) that I got when I was 5, and she meant the world to me as a kid. I bought our son his first CPK not too long ago too....

Just wondered what others kept from childhood.

I have 3 of my childhood dolls, Posie, Tiny Tears and a little unmarked vinyl named Mary Dessie after my great-grandmother who gave her to me. I've been collecting dolls since I was a teenager and have 100's now, but those 3 will always be my favorites!

My brothers and sisters got an Atari for Christmas 25 years ago. It meant more to me than the others because I was the youngest I guess and I used to sleep with it (those joysticks kinda poke) I still have it and my kids play it occasionally but it's pretty temperamental. Ahhhhhh, Atari.

i had a baby doll "lulu". i got her when i was 3. she was in the window at the maytag store . we would pass by when we went into town.(we walked everywhere then, dad had the only car for work). i saw that doll and had to have it! my mom bought it for me.lulu sat on my bed from then on. sadly, lulu was killed in a fire in 1983 and i was devistated!(i was 23 at the time). that christmas,my mom bought me a replacement.lulu 2.mom was as sad as i was.now lulu 2 sits on my bed. not the same as the first, but just as special. a constant reminder of the wonderful mother i was blessed to have.

It's not a toy as such, but an old, worn penny (Victorian maybe) that my dad gave me for good luck the night before an exam. I was stressed to blazes and I was hugely touched, especially as he is not normally one for thoughtful gestures.

I'm 39 I have the bionic woman and car. I remember I cried and cried for that item for my b-day and my Aunt got it for me and it was very expensive she told me I better take care of it. That was the only toy I cried over to get.

my collection of stuff toys...I got that from my grandmother when I was four...she gave it to me via remittance box because she works abroad...Especially those twin penguins in the box...they were sooo cute I always played with them but my mom got angry because of the mess so she put them on the shelf and covered them with plastic...so they were just being displayed at our room now...but you know what? I really loved those penguins...Everytime I reminisce, I just look at them...I'm 16 now and watching them makes me feel a bit younger...

I'm 23 years old and a college graduate. I still have my baby blanket, and I still sleep with it... it fits just perfectly.
