When I moved into this apartment the bathtub was DISCUSTING! as if no one had cleaned it in about a year....
I used Lime Away (or clr would work as well). I used HALF the bottle.... I put some in the tub, spread around with my hand (wore gloves of course) and let sit for 3 hours.... I rinsed with COLD water (do not use hot water, because that will set the stain in more!!) and then I repeated, only the second time I scrubbed before I rinsed! I repeated this a third time, and the tub looks brand new!
after that, clean one to two times weekly!!

Lime away and clr sell at walmart or kmart for about 3.50 a bottle.

Spray scrubbing Bubbles walk away..5-10 minutes later spray again. Take a moistened Mr Clean Magic Eraser and scrub the tub. I think the Magic Eraser is amazing in the tub!

Ive found Cif moose works well to remove semi hard stains - after that its a scrub and probably bleach to be honest. Don't use a cloth, a brillo pad style one is better and plenty of hot water

Check the cleaning isle in your local grocery store for a product called "Barkeepers Friend". It will be near the scouring powders. That and some elbow grease will have your tub sparkling in no time.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear about your tubby; bubby! I had the same thing happen with my tub and stains! I surfed the net like a mad woman, but nothing worked. I finally tried the colorox bleach pen. It took the stain right out!

I paid about $4.50 for mine, but I was surfing the freebies today and I saw a link to get one for free!

Good Luck!

Kaboom is the best I've found. But if its hard water stains you might not find anything. I have never found anything that totally removes hard water stains. Kaboom is great for soap scum. It is in a purple bottle.

Use Clorox Pen sample. Squeeze the fine point tip and rub it on the tub. Then, leave it for a while, before you wipe it dry with a towel. You may as well visit this site http://www.upkb.com/cloroxpen.php for the product details.
