I have been on a lot, and I wont describe them because so many others allready have, but what i will say is this... It isnt about the loops, or the speed as much as it is the DROP! That is what i think makes one great, the more drops the better and the higher and steeper the better!!! Forget all the other stuff, its over in 3 secs, the drop is what you will remember!

Speed, speed is everything and high heights. Speeding up high and then falling fast back down, that's awesome. I love the rush. I've been a the Hulk (8), the speed is really on it with loops
Dueling Dragons(8), which is not one but two coasters that you can choose from. Ice or Fire; I prefer Fire.
The Mummy's Revenge (10), The best one, it's like the movie and a coaster put together. Where the mummy tries to take you away.
all these are at Universal Studio Orlando.
Mount Everest(8), No loops but it's really fast and it goes backwards. With a 5 story drop at the end.
Rockin' roller coaster(10), The G-force on this is unbelievable and with the music of Arowsmith blasting in your ears makes for one amazing ride.
Primeval Whirl Spinning Coaster(8) A really cute coaster that spins you back and forth as you go down the track.
These are at DisneyWorld
And the Kraken(9) at Seaworld Orlando. You'll have jelly knees after going on this, it's fast with loops.
- All of these are totally awsome!
I've also been on Nitro(10, 10, 10)! at Sixflags most cool. this one takes you up high then speeds back down.

Chang @ 6 flags is a 10 its a stand up coaster w/3 loops. well i think thats the right name. the beast at kings island is like a 9 its a wooden roller coaster, no loops but it has some tunnels though. the son of beast was a 10 it was wooden & had a loop & went pretty fast, they shut it down though. vortex has quite a few loops & is at kings island thats an 8. the tomb raider isnt really a roller coaster but it spins you upside-down & you just hang there for like 30 seconds it does this more than once its a 10 its at kings island too, the 1st time i road it i almost pissed my pants! these are all my favorites. maybe they will reopean son of beast next season, but i doubt it.

Iron Wolf at Six Flags Great America outside of chicago, il. It is FAST and it has loops. .. I love the combo! Defintly at least a 9!!
Raging Bull at the same park was SO SCARY! I don't remember if there were loops, but it was VERY VERY FAST and the drops were STEEEEEEEP! I remember thinking I'd rather be in labor with another baby than be on that ride at that moment, I coudln't wait to get off! I was scared to death!

Speed IMHO. Sometimes loops can bang your head around. I like wood or steel. Favorite top 3 wood are Phoenix at Knoebels, Bolderdash at Lake Compounce and El Toro at Six Flags Great Adventure. All are s 10 IMO. Top three steel is Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure, Superman at Six Flags New England and Mil. Force at Cedarpoint. All a ten.

I definitely think speed is better. My favorite roller coasters are The hulk at Islands of adventure, it really takes off fast and I also like Rockin Roller Coaster at MGM studios in Florida. I like them the most because they take off at high speeds.

Mantis, I'd say 8. Standing up, looping coaster. Cedar Point Amusement Park, Ohio.
There's another one at Cedar Point, can't recall the name, but it's like drag racing. shoots you almost straight up 200 ft, then you come back down. i'd give it a 9
