There is a bug that is like an opaque white with grey stripes and tentacles. I have no idea what it is called. 10 points for the first person to tell me what kind it is

Well you didn't say if it has six legs (in which case it's an insect) or if it has more -- maybe six or more pairs (in which case it isn't), BUT it sounds like a variant of a pill bug -- also called a roly-poly bug. Sometimes they have a semi-translucent body, so where their segments cross over there are darker areas and they seem to have grey stripes. By 'tentacles' I guess you mean their antennae??

Anyway, sounds like a pill bug variant to me. :)

If you want more info you can go to gardenweb.com where can do a search under the FAQ's and also in their garden forums under 'pests'. It's the biggest gardening website in the world, apparently, and they often have questions (and good answers) about stuff like this.

PS it's a free website.

Hope this helps!

If this can be a beetle, it's mainly a potato beetle. They are really typical in America and feature particular darkish and light brown stripes stripes. If you realize what kind of worm it's, what state or nation it's in, or some other know-how I is also ready to support extra.

That would be a opaque, grey stripped, six legged, corpus bug.
