During tonight's game and in response to Michael J. Fox' ad, Fox Sports and MLB are running anti-stem cell research ads, making the two more than just partners in sports broadcasting, but political partners as well - what do you think?

Is this for real??? I hope not. I watch baseball as an escape, I don't want to hear about this issue, especially from athletes and politicians and actors.

I think the stem cell research is not only a hot topic now but a very important topic and some people feel very strongly one way or another. So, if I felt very strongly about something and I wanted others to know my feelings and I had the ability I would run an advertisment during the World Series. I hope that answers your question.

In 2004, Kurt Schilling said he had to hurry home in order to vote for Bush. Now Suppan is getting involved with the right to life crap about stem cell research. I hope Schilling never wins another game and Suppan gets his butt shelled tonight. Athletes tend to be not so smart and these guys prove it. And leave it to Faux to put this junk on during the world series.

This whole thing is way NUTS! This is the World Series not the floor of Congress. Keep politics out of Sport!

I can't imagine MLB sponsoring political ads of any sort, pro or con. They may be airing the ads but that doesn't mean they're sponsoring them, as you seem to imply.

You boycott baseball and I'll boycott Michael J. Fox.

Edit
iwasnot - Another example of the open minded left in this country. If you don't agree with it then THEY must be wrong. Hypocrite!
