for nc's question its 3,000 miles away from the border which is 32 hours driving. its one hour from guadalajara the big city.a main road runs through that takes you to guadalajara airport runs through the land. theres not a lot of population down there estimated 150,000 people. people usually grow tequila or have livestock on there land. tequilla takes to long to grow and i dont like killing animals. im not rich so i cant open a resort plus its in the mountains not on the beach like vallarta. Some of my ideas( growing palm trees to sell to vallarta which is 4 hrs away, paintball courses, breeding dogs or birds, growing fruits)

If there are a large number of different birds on the acreage, I would think seriously about building a birding lodge and giving birding tours. There is excellent money to be made doing so.

Where is the land located? In a coastal area, in the desert, or somewhere in-between? Within an incorporated city (if so, how big is the city) or not? How close is the U.S. border? How far is the nearest airport and how long are runways there? How far the nearest INTERNATIONAL airport? How far is the nearest major highway? How easy is it to get to the land from that highway? Is there any indigenous population? If so, do you have good relationship with their leaders?
