I agree with you. It is strange that certain ones, come here every single day. C'mon, there is something wrong with this picture....maybe they are not looking into their own sexuality etc., but there is something strange still. Even if you hate a group of people, it is too much to be here for months, daily.
Thanks for your support! I admire scuba diving, and never had the guts to try it! Is it hard?
I love cooking also!

I think "homophobes" are attracted to places such as this forum because they can anonymously and without consequence attack homosexuals. They have no plans to change a person's mind, anymore than a Klansman expects a black or Jew to change to white or Christian.
Attributing some sort of closet attraction to homosexuality, however, is a big leap in attributing someone's motivation as a group. What evidence do you see that they are "learning" anything about homosexuals?
But using that line of thought, maybe the atheists that visit the religion forum secretly want to be Christian or other religious. Hmm....

I have always felt very strongly that the gay community is like a train wreck to the straight world. They can't help but look and wonder and deep down find the horrifying very fascinating. Which is fine but I think there is a better way to satisfy your curiosity other than bashing and behaving in a cruel and cutting way.

Yes, I do have garbage in me, because I live in a crumbling society that is full of garbage, so unloading that garbage in the form of self-expression helps me keep my sanity. And just to help you learn something new, I'll paste my answer that I gave to another person when I was surfing through the GLBT section.
"The problem with gay marriage is comprised of several, key factors. First of all, the morality of homosexuality itself is still being debated, and as long as there is no joint consensus on the said behavior, no legal action should be taken to ensure members of the controversial faction of society receive government-provided rights beyond what they already have. In every state that gay marriage has been on the ballot, it has lost. It must remain illegal as long as the majority is opposed to it. To do otherwise would be oppression, and that is not what democracy is. Many gay rights activists complain that what people do in their own homes doesn't affect others, but this is foolish. The laws that the government creates DO affect others, and the fact that they will use this rhetoric proves how destructive the social-liberal agenda is. Based on their logic, letting some creep molest children in their own house is okay because it doesn't directly affect everyone else. Now whether or not you personally think homosexuality is a perversion like pedophilia or bestiality is irrelevant; what matters is that the majority of Americans do think so, and therefore, no gay marriage for you.
If you want to make a change in people's hearts, you have to be compassionate. Loud-mouthed bulldogs like Rosie O'Donnell do not help the "Gay Agenda." In order to be compassionate, you must put yourself in the other person's shoes. In my shoes, the religion I follow, combined with my own common sense, tells me that homosexuality is wrong, and so I don't want my government creating laws that legally permit homosexual union. I don't hate gays, but I do disagree with their lifestyles. In your shoes, you're gay, and you didn't choose to be that way, and you feel cheated because you don't have the same rights that straight people do. So you're mad. I understand that. But this is America; we live in a democracy. The majority rules, and the majority has spoken. Now shut up."

People come here because they have a right to come here. Just like the KKK has a right to have a website and construct meetings and seminars. And most of the time innocent straight people come here to ask honest questions to learn about the gay community and they get bashed by the snotty depressed gay people because they think that their question is stupid. But how can someone ask a stupid question about something that they know nothing about? But this is not to say that their are not cruel bashers on here but have you ever thought that maybe the cruel bashers were once innocent people who came to ask a innocent question and got bashed by snotty gays?
Leroy that was well said.

wellyou may have answered the question yourself.
however sometimes some people just have no life. That some just tries to waste time not making much effort in life. but that is not to say that everyone who uses the computer has no life, because that would be very wrong and contradicting. plus homophobes are very irritating.

I had a co-worker who would talk about the characters on Queer as Folk when it was on the air. He would talk bad about them and he knew enough about them to make me think he was a fan of the show. They're just exploring. Let them. Maybe they will be more understanding.
