I was on the combined pill for about 10 years and I missed about 3 days and fell pregnant !! (baby is now 2 weeks old!) This is really a 'how long is a piece of string' question as it will be very different for everybody but I think anything up to 12 months is a normal period of time. sorry I wasnt much help

I came off the pill in February after being on it for eight years. We have been trying to conceive for the last 4 months and have had no luck yet. I really wonder if it is my body trying to get back to normal. I have had regular periods since I got off the pill between 28-35days and I am so worried now. I am due for my period tomorrow but I am crossing my fingers that this is my lucky month. I have no symptoms of being pregnant though.

Good Luck to you and all the best

My friend was pregnant within a month after going off the pill but she miscarried. Four months later she is pregnant again.
I've read that you should wait about 3 months after going off the pill to let the hormones completely clear your system before trying to get pregnant.

I have been told that it can take up to a year, but my friend came off the pill in October last year and was pregnant by the new year. It is different for everyone.

It can happen immediately. This is why you are told to use alternative methods on BC if you skip 2 pills. I got pregnant right away after being on the pill for 5 years.

When you can't get pregnant, and things look good from the outside, it can be extremely frustrating.
The first thing to consider is how long have you been trying. About 80% of couples will get pregnant after six months of trying, and about 90% will be pregnant after 12 months of trying to get pregnant. Anyway this is a great methid to get pregnant fast https://tr.im/171f0

Depends on the people involved. I was on the pill for 18 years when my hubby & I decided to start a family. I barely made it a week and a half before I was pregnant.
Now others I know have been trying for years and nothing. So keep practising!!!

Once infertility has been diagnosed, there are a number of treatment options available depending on the root cause of the problem. Learn here https://tr.im/o81VI

Infertility is a condition defined as not being able to become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse. Women who suffer from multiple miscarriages may also be diagnosed as infertile. Infertility may be classified into two groups, primary and secondary infertility.
