Don't smoke or drink, go to your doctor visits & do what they say, eat well, follow your cravings, exercise lots to make it easier.
You should be fine if you do that.

Congratulations Rach,
Fristly its hard to make sure you don't loose your baby, as sometimes its going to happen if you sit in bed and do nothing for the first 3 months or if you ride bareback horses, you can try a few things to reduce the risk of miscrriage, if you have had reacurring miscarriages then you should speack to your doctor about geting a stich in your cervix incase of an incomplete cervix, If this is your first pregnancy and are just worried about miscarriage, remember its completely natural to have these concerns as many mother's to be have this worry until hitting the 12 week mark where the chances of miscarriage is muchly reduced.
The more you relax, and eat properly, make sure you know what foods and vitimins you should avoid then you are giving your baby the best shot, make sure everything you eat is cook entilerly, avoid pre-prepard foods, eat only freshly made things to avoid the risk of food poisioning, if your doctor has recommended you don't have sex until the 2nd trimester then listen to his advie, this should only be avoided if a doctor has advised, or you experance vaginal bleeding, or have reacurring miscarriages, otherwise sex is comletely safe. Stay away from vitemin A. If you have any worries then see your doctor ASAP.

Good luck and I wish you all the best.

Its perfectly normal to be anxious during pregnancy. Try to relax a little and enjoy it. The best thing you can do is to get plenty of rest, relax, eat healthily, avoid alchohol and smoking. Read some books about pregnancy and it might help you feel more at ease with the changes happening to your body.

Good luck with the pregnancy.

Other than practicing a healthy lifestyle there is nothing you can do. Very, very seldom are miscarriages cause by something the mother did. Your concern is very normal for every excited mother to be. And they say the worry about your child will never ever go away.

No pregnancy is 100% until baby is born, up until12weeks gestation you chances are greater than after 12 weeks. That's why most women wait those 12 weks before telling people there pregnant.

There's no way to fully prevent yourself from losing your child at ANY time during your pregnancy. All you can do is take care of your body, being that's what the baby is feeding off of and appreciate the blessing that God has given you, when you do in fact, give birth to him/her.

Good luck honey!

take it easy, rest a lot, do what your body tells you to do. Keep stress at bay and if you believe in God, pray. I bled for 8 weeks and am so thankful to be in my third trimester now. Most M/C's happen at 8-10 weeks due to the placenta taking over what your bosy has been doing up to that point.

oh im so sorry that you feel like this is happening
if you are bleeding rest now and get to gp in morning and they should refer you to early foetal welfare unit, they may scan you but they are powerless to prevent miscarriage at the early stages sadly-if you are in pain and cannot cope with the severity consider a&e
the best case scenario is that you just have a little spotting which can be normal, but i would see the g.p.for self-reassurance
good luck,rest x

There is no reason to think you will lose your baby and there is probably nothing to prevent it happening. Stop being so anxious this will not help - you will probably sail through pregnancy without any problems. Good luck with everything and keep calm.
