West coast-held it down until Wutang Biggie appeared.
Dirty South 2000 until now
Texas is taking over
Underground will always rule, because money is not the motivation for underground rappers.....it is pure heart......

Dirty South...dirty dirty. ATL, NC, GA all the way baby. I gotta rep the south since I was born and raised here. East Coast, West Coast, Texas 3rd coast (lol, never heard it put that way) and Underground are hot to. Don't have a best, they are all good in their own ways.

As far as subgenres, spoken word rap with real instrumentals is the best, Im talkin A tribe called quest, Jurassic 5, Blackalicious, that kinda stuff.
When it comes to crap rap about killing people and hoes west coast all the way.

east coast.. in the 90's and right now im torn between west coast and the east. and dont mind all the rap haters answering, they need someone to listen to their whinning because hip hop is here to stay.. and it pisses them off.. you never hear people who like hip hop constantly bashing that crap rock and/or country they listen to...if you ask me it dont take much more talent to scream into the mike and dress like a girl in tight pants, wearing eyeliner and teasing their hair..
