The answer to your question is absolutely YES it does cause it amongst many other things most of which are reverseable! One of my past employees actually died from this condition! She just could not stop her psychological picture of herself! Her chemicals got so messed up it would throw the potassium in her blood off! And her heart did bad things! Two times we got her down to the emergency room for an IV of potassium and saved her! But she just got rid of the nutrition she needed!

Hair needs certain nutrients if you do not eat them then no hair!

Yes it will return but you do need to get with the program and vitamin supplements!

Good Luck and Good Health stay with it!

Yeah been there and done that. Malnutrition, You lose so many nutrients. Yo may notice your hair gets more dry and brittle and falls in clumps in the shower. I've been in recovery since the beginning of this year... after 11 years of suffering from the ed. And my hair still falls out. It takes some time for your body to recover from the damge thats been done.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://bitly.im/aL9L3 While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.

Yes bulimia can cause hair loss but not for all bulimics. It depends on your b/p happens and how often and how much you are purging. Personally i havent had any hair loss since i was emaciated.

I would say YES!!!

To have healthy hair and a healthy body you must eat healthy and keep the food in you to feed your body.

No food, No hair. Hopefully it will stop if you once stop throwing your food up.

yes, they are related. the lack of proper nutrition and the constant vomiting and laxatives causes your body to suffer. teeth rot, bones become frail, your esophagus is worn away by stomach acid, you become weak, your hair starts to fall out, a few natural body functions cease, (generally it sucks).

i think yes because protein & other vitamins & minerals in food helps hair growth & hair repair so if u puke out the food u eat u puke out the nutrients as well so it is related i think
