I am 31 weeks preggy and I have noticed every few days I have been getting really soar at the top of my stomach, (not contraction because this pain will last for hours) but the top gets really hard and it is sore, some times accompanied by back pain? baby is birthing position, do you think he is getting ready? I have told doc and my fetal fibracton tests come back fine (to see if I'll go into labor in the next two weeks) I took one about a week and a half ago. what could this be? anyone else get it? I was doing laundry today which is in basement, think im just over doing it?

Mine does too, I am 29 weeks. I think the baby moves up to that areas and causes a lot of pressure, oh man, he just did it again lol. You're not alone, I feel like I am in labor many times due to this.

I'm 35 wks...I have a similar problem and it's the baby "balling up" in one spot. It does hurt, I can tell you that. And if the back pain you're talking about is right under your shoulder blade(s) then we definitley have the same thing going on. Try gently massaging that spot to see if you can coerce him/her to move into a more comfortable position. Usually helps for me.

it could be a baby's foot pressing something up there....most likely some digestive organ.
