the most disappointing & shocking day of my life was 3/19/02 my mother was a outgoing fox & went in for a breast reduction, so her bestfriend & I made jokes about the doctor how he was gonna feel her up, play with the big **** before they get cut down all kind of jokes, i went maybe 15 mins up the street to a restarant to chill & have a drink until they call saying she's in recovery - instead I got a call to RUSH back to the hospital. I got there buzzed from the drink & they were running back & forth stated my mother was given too much anastesia which caused pulmonary complications etc. She is Not the same, doesn't wanna go out (can't walk that far -on oxygen) poor memory and to top if all off she never got the breast reduction so that back problem in all still occurs on plus all of the new medical problems! I miss my adventurious mom. oh! went home to no electric because I never got a chance to do a chk over the phone because of the drama at the hospital- UNFORGETTABLE DAY

Um...

Ok, this is going to sound slightly ridiculous. A few weeks ago i was writing an essay based on Descartes. I thought i had come up with a brilliant argument against his concept of thought being the only proof of existence. I handed in my essay on cloud nine. And then i found out David Hume (a famous philosopher) had already come up with the concept i was trying to convey. Let's just say my brilliant moment faded into nothing.

I don't know if this is considered disappointed, but the saddest day of my life was when I lost my son. He died 5min. after birth. My wife and I just held him for the longest time. I guess I was disappointed in something. I just don't know what.
