Monisha Bharadwaj - an expert in oriental beauty and author of Indian Beauty Secrets (Kyle Cathie) - swears by an Ayurvedic recipe handed down in her family. 'Crush five mint leaves with a little water in a mortar. Strain the juice and add to 1 tsp. almond oil and half a teaspoon of honey. Stir until completely mixed and apply a tiny amount under the eyes before going to bed.' Works wonders, she swears. And if camouflage is your only option? 'To disguise dark circles,' advises Sarah Raeburn, 'choose a concealer with light reflecting particles. 'Nothing beats YSL Touche Eclat. Tip your head down and only apply the concealer where the shadows are, using a light touch. Less is more.'
