You can study anthropology at almost any university, college, or community college in the United States. When you ask, "& what fields i will be able to work in?", you could be asking what sub-fields of anthropology will be available to you in college, or you could be asking what you can do with a degree in anthropology.

To answer the first version: Depending on who you ask, there are three or four main sub-fields of anthropology. Cultural anthropology is the most widespread. Physical anthropology investigates human evolution, human ecology, anatomy, and primates. Archaeology is interested in finding and interpreting clues about human societies which are no longer extant, or which have changed. Linguistic anthropology deals with questions about how language helps to make our world, and how languages change. Cultural anthropology is most common, but there are hundreds and hundreds of colleges that offer programs in each of these sub-fields.

What can you do with a degree in anthropology? Cultural anthropology is mainly an academic discipline, and most people who study anthropology end up working for colleges or universities in one capacity or another. Cultural anthropologists like myself may also do marketing research for corporate firms, consulting work in a variety of professional fields, translation work, work in the tourism industry, work for international NGOs, or intelligence work for the armed services. Undergraduate anthropology degrees also look good for people who are interested into going to law school, or into graduate programs in the other social sciences (like history, sociology) or the humanities (like literature, gender studies, philosophy).
Archaeologists mainly do research, but governmental bodies often employ archaeologists to do survey work or to assess sites of historical importance. Physical anthropologists do research at universities, but also lend their services to medical research and development firms and law enforcement (as forensic anthropologists). An undergrad degree in physical anthropology looks good for medical school, too. Linguistic anthropologists, again, work mostly in universities, but may also serve as translators or may be occupied in other language-related fields.

The best way to pick a university in which to study anthropology is to figure out what cultures, geographic areas, or problems you are most interested in, and then to do a little googling to find professors who are also interested in those things. After you figure out who's working on what, then all you have to do is figure out where they work, and apply there.

The previous person already covered most aspects of anthropology studies and what you could do with it. I studied cultural anthropology at UMass/Amherst, where they have an excellent department. One of their strong suits was (and may still be, I'm not sure) criminology. Since they were the "number crunchers", they got most of the grant money and of course, if you went into that field, you could probably have a wider choice of fields from which to choose. It would certainly be more diverse than someone who had specialized in, say, pre-Colonial settlement of the Connecticut River Valley!

After finding out what archaeologists are paid, I went into sociology for two years of grad school, but found it stifling. Eventually, after a few jobs as a teaching assistant, I found that was my "calling", and became certified to teach English (my minor) and Social Studies in high school. I loved it! But it WOULD have been nice to have tenure as a prof. at my old alma mater!

I even have studied anthropology, have even teached it and we've in all risk quite some issues to share. you do no longer tell the place in Turkey you're reading or what languages you comprehend nicely adequate to income there. the main suitable you may do is to ask with what universities out of the country your college is in touch and to flow there. it is quite the main suitable thank you to head out of Turkey to income someplace. quite everywhere you look at basically some people between the anthropology graduates artwork as anthropologists, as researcher or college instructor. maximum of them do some thing else. notwithstanding you want to do after leaving the college, you may ask the place issues you have learnt could nicely be clever and look the thank you to artwork there.
