I have a state chess tournament and am ranked top 3 so I should win prize money. If i wen't though I would be missing basketball for my school. That would hurt my playing time what should i do?

I think you should go with basketball. You made a commitment to the team and you shouldn't let them down.

Well, I think that the chess tournament would help you more. Unless you seriously have a good chance of getting a career in basket ball, why throw away an opportunity like chess? It all depends on what matters to YOU more though.

whatever u want to do...i would personally go for the chess tourny and make some money. If you have a future in basketball maybe u should consider sticking with the basketball team. its all up to u in the end tho

I love basketball, but you are gettin' cash & you'll still be on the basketball team, so you might as well get the cash and win state!

Tell both of ur teammates to stand on opposite sides of the bball court and take the ball urself.. If they start doubling you then move the ball around and find the open layup. If the other two guys cannot make layups then u are in trouble my friend...

that is a hard question how much money are we talking about? apparently you are pretty good at chess so i would probably pursue that.
