The U.S. has never had a black president, although there are claims that Abe Lincoln was Mulungion (sp?) and therefore has black ancestry.
Edit:
John Hanson was NOT the first president under the articles of confederation...and he was a white man. The myth that he was the first president came out in a book in the early 1900's, but the book has been proven false. Samuel Huntington was the first president under the articles of confederation, but he was also white.
Bill Clinton was honored as the first black president by the Black Caucus, but he has no traceble black ancestry.

Washington was not the first President of the United States. The REAL first president was a black man by the name of John Hanson..If you go looking in the encyclopedia for this his name, there is a slim chance that you will find anything... he is long lost to history.
When the Articles of Confederation were signed in 1781, a president needed to run the country. John Hanson was unanimously by the congress (including George Washington). During his time as president, Hanson established the Great Seal of the United States and the first Treasury Department

I've heard about this before. And there's an image of him on the $20 bill (or some other bill). He's easy to spot - he's darker than the rest.
But of course no one will beleive you. They don't teach the truth in school.
The history books are always written by the side who wins the war.

Jessie Jackson was close, he ran for president, until he screwed up by hoping the jews voted for him, but instead of him calling them jews he called them 'Himmies' something like that. The jews were affended and therefore wouldn't vote for him.
