I want to do something that has to do w/ humans. Not plants, magnets, or anything like that. I wanted to do something that had to do with skin cancer, and sunscreen.[stuff like that] if you have any ideas....please post them!

you probably can't run tests on humans, just give them surveys or ask questions or take pictures of them.

you can look at ingredients on sunscreen and find out what they do.

you can measure people's knowledge of skin cancer or melanoma by giving them surveys or asking questions.

you can do research on skin cancer (for example australia has the highest incidence of skin cancer) and see if the ozone hole is affecting skin cancer rates (are they higher under the ozone hole?)

you could develop educational materials to help people learn to detect skin cancer (like the abc's is often used i think it is called)

A great idea, I used to work a lot with ultra-violet light in a hospital and used to see a lot of skin cancer, which by the way is the most deadly form of cancer if not treated. perhaps the only way that I can help you now is to advise you to either contact your local hospital or if there is a branch of a cancer society in your area they may be able to help you. Most people are willing to help in any way to get the message over. Good luck.

Put different SPF numbers on your arms and legs, and see how well each one works. You might have to lay out in the sun for a few hours.
