We could just reverse the middle part of the Louisiana purchase and make all the red states part of France...then we will get a government representing the smart people in America.

Some of the Red states are not really RED like Florida. We have more registered Democrats in every county than republicans. They have more money to buy the elections. This is most likely true in several other states! They are trying to lower their cost with the Electronic voter fraud cheat machine's if they can pull it off! You can sell off the republicans to whom ever wants them "good luck there", but land wise i think we need to keep that!

Sure, sounds like a very sensible and reasonable plan. Let's see the red states have all the natural resources and agricultural areas. Most of the great mountains and wilderness areas. Sure, sell away. Problem in the fact that France is a nearly bankrupt country. How about we give all the "smart people" to France?
