ie..."friends" and family always seem to make me feel like I owe them something. And in the end I know that the only one being cheated is myself and my husband, how can I at 31 learn to live my life without worrying about everyone else? My heart is too big.

You and your husband are good people...your friends and family probably don't think that they are infringing on you guys....they most likely never gave it a thought...they love you guys so much and are so comfortable at your place...talk to them and say that you guys need more space...they will understand.

I used to be like you then I got the self confidence to speak my mind(without hurting people's feelings) how did I get self confidence? I bought a book with a cd and within 2 months was a changed person. I am more positive about life and I actually
awaken ready to face the day. good luck to you.

i've got been strolling to the bus end with the help of my self via fact the 5th grade and since the 1st grade my sister walked me to college. i in my view think of he would be wonderful and in case you walk him to the bus end he is going to get made exciting of alot and he wont make many acquaintances. he would be considered as 'momma's boy' or some thing worse

My god! even at this age if u can 't say no, then when will u learn? At times u hav to be a little selfish otherwise u can't hav peace of mind. grow up. Atleast from now onwards, try to live ur life.

Who will worry about you if you don't worry about yourself? You need to begin to set boundaries and tell people "no, I can't do that" or "no, the way that you are treating me is not acceptable".

Don't take this the wrong way but you may want to go to counseling to learn assertiveness skills. Best of luck!

Simple, what do you want out of life? Go get it! You don't owe anyone anything. Please take time out of your day to do something for you and your husband. You deserve it! Run off for a weekend and don't take the cell phone!

three words honey.... JUST SAY NO!!!... people are walking all over you (and your husband) because they know they can get away with it... and they know they can take advantage of you... for once (and the years to come) think of you (and your husband). you are fortunate your husband has stood by you through all these years... nobody will love you unless you love yourself FIRST!!!

You just need to realize something it took me a long time to realize. You are never going to be able to please everyone. And, there is NOTHING wrong with saying "oh sorry, I just don't have the time"....or "no, I can't right now".
