I would choose personality over looks any day of the week.

A picture is only a picture. Spending time with someone and having a good conversation is priceless. Pretty girls come and go; after a while they can get on a guy's nerves; the stupid giggles are enough. The make-up weights their little brain down. With the head empty, it is just a matter of time before any guy will look for the real thing. I usually wait until they talk.

I would only go for both. If forced to choose between the two personality would be most important.

DEPENDS... if i like the way someone looks.. or im attracted to them then yes i would like to see about there personality and but then again for instance in a work setting and dealing with someone all day everyday then there is a great chance for personality first..

nicely, that is kinds of both. and not using a personality, seems at the instantaneous are not worth a lot. a nasty personality can make someone a lot less pleasing. in spite of the indisputable fact that there has to a minimum of be the charm. without that, someone is only a buddy. personality with ok seems is a lot more effective perfect than good searching without personality although.

okay if i just have to choose personality...a good personality can make a not so good looking person pop out...:) and a pretty face just doesnt have the same effect on someones personality :D

First looks, because that is what anyone is attracted to then the personality. If the personality is not there but the looks are, bye bye. I can't be with someone that has a personality of a wet mop. :O)

i try personality first and then it can turn into looks or attraction, but if i had to choose then id rather have a friend with a great personality rather then a guy that looks hot but is stupid or mean

Looks fade away much sooner than personality but, if I were you, I would look a little deeper in both of these criteria. And if you want to get a very good idea about either criteria, take a real good look at his/her family.
