Did someone actually say Batista? Where in God's name did that come from? BATISTA? Good on a mic?.... WHAT?!
Initial shock over... moving on....
You are correct with rating The Rock as the very best with the mic. Mic was good, but holding your attention, keeping it, and taking it for a ride goes to the Rock. Austing was good, but his actions spoke louder than his words. The Rock sucked as a wrestler, but ruled that mic.

Mick Foley. Seriously, go out right now, buy his Greatest Hits & Misses DVD and listen to some of the promos on that first disc. Mick Foley had, without a doubt, the greatest mic skills of any wrestler in WWE history. Aside from maybe Ric Flair in his prime, but that was in the NWA.

Definately Ric Flair.... I've always got more entertainment from Ric Flair on the mic than Ric Flair in the ring - and Ric was a legend in the ring. Chris Jericho also had fantastic mic skills.

the Rock is the greatest
Eddy Guerrero was funny just because he tried to hard to act and it made it funny
Ric Flair's mic skills were so good he rarely had to wrestle and it seemed like he always had the belt
honorable mention for Stone Cold too
