hee hee hee.
When I was pregnant, at our first appointment, my husband asked our doctor that question. I nearly fell off the examination table from laughter.
My doctors answer?
"BOO!"
"Feel your heart? Are you the same sex you were when you came in?"
I still rib my husband about that. hee hee.

Baby girls typically have a stronger heart than baby boys...but that's not ALWAYS true. Also, the earlier you are in your pregnancy the faster the heart rate is. I have had two kids and I am pregnant with third. With my first daughter, her heart rate was fast..like 160-165, and my son was usually about 130-140. But this pregnancy...in the beginning the heart rate was like 170, and then a month later was only 135. Now I am 7 months with a definate baby girl and her heart rate for the past 3 months has been averaging at 135-140. The only sure way to know is when you have an ultrasound! Sorry! Good Luck! and Congrats!

That is an myth, and doesn't have any medical backup, but what's funny is I read the other day that if the beat was above 160 it's a girl, and below it's a boy. IF that were true, i wouldn't know what to tell you!!! I read through a list of all the myths that say which sex you are having, and according to my own symptoms, I'm over 70% likely to have a girl, but I am having a boy! So don't listen to anything!!! Just wait for the treasured ultrasound!!!

The myth is that the higher the heart beat then your gonna have a girl. But I know someone who's baby had a 160 heartbeat and they had a boy....and my sister's baby had a really low heartbeat and it ended up a girl. So you really can't go by that.

it is a old wives tale hun... my mother in law told me the same thing all the time when I was prego with all 5 of my kids.... if I would have listen to her, I would have never had anything bought for my girls before they were born.... I have 2 boys and 3 girls and all of thier heartbeats were the same speed.... that is the normal speed of a baby's heart ... dont let them fool you ...
Good luck

there is largely one thank you to renowned one hundred% while you're having a youngster, and thats giving beginning, even ultrasounds are not one hundred%, its basically a wager.. The previous different halves thoughts did no longer artwork for me in any respect, My daughters heart value has been everywhere from one hundred forty-one hundred seventy for the time of my being pregnant, and my cravings have been everywhere from candy and extraordinarily spiced meals, to chocolate sundays and a slab of ribs, or a huge fruit cocktail and a few bread.

my daughters heartbeat was around 165-174. But my sister-in-law had a boy and his heartbeat was around 155-172. So I guess it just differs
