It smells like ammonia sometimes because....

1. You are not drinking enough water. The strong odor is due to the urea concentration being too high. Urea is chemically related to ammonia.

2. You are getting your nose too close to the toilet.

Actually, nothing weird about it. It smells because of #1. Drink more water...at least a half gallon per day.

because your body has high PH levels....the smell is related to diet. If it has a strong odor and a dark yellow color it means you need to drink more water to lower the PH level in your body. Also the stronger the smell the more likely it is that you have a bladder infection...so drink cranberry juice and water and things should clear up and get back to where they should be.

amonia and toxins are excreated through your urine and sweat. the stronger the smell the more concentrated it is. drink more fluids.
