Stretchy, clear egg-white discharge sounds like fertile-quality cervical mucous. Your body produces it to coincide with ovulation and it actually aids sperm in getting to their destination. It might just mean that you're ovulating.
If there's not burning, itching or odor it's unlikely that you have an infection.

If you're not late for your period, is it possible you're ovulating?
Are you taking any medications? Some meds cause me to react that way, even meds not down-there related (ask your gynocologist).
Sometimes, some women just have more discharge for a time than usual. I've gone through dry spells, and other times when the discharge drove me nuts.
The fact that it's white/clear, doesn't smell, and doesn't burn or itch means that most likely nothing is "wrong", but it doesn't mean you couldn't be pregnant, responding to medication, or ovulating.
The best option, if it worries you, is always to call your doctor, nurse, or nurse-hotline (lots of hospitals have 1-800 numbers where you can call and give a description of what's wrong, and a registered nurse calls back within minutes).
In the meantime, you can use a pantyliner if it's driving you crazy, and try keeping vagisil powder or feminine moist wipes available (Always and Playtex both have some that are flushable, I think.)

It is very possible that it is just a mucus discharge. It can happen when you are fertile. You have more mucus at that time so it can help the sperm travel and be happy. You just might be pregnant.
