I had read about a comment and what this world is comming too. It's hard for me to talk about this but here it is...My mother slept with my husband. (At the time) It was one of the most heart wrenching things I had ever gone through. This is like one of the things you hear on Jerry springer but this was my LIFE!!! After my divorce, I was so depressed I went into a two year depression and started doing meth and smoking pot. I just turned 27 and never even had a beer. I Trusted my mother she was like my best friend and I was so in love with my husband there was nothing that I would not do for him. I blamed myself and for two years I punished myself like it was my fault. I finally stopped asking God why? Then came to terms with the fact that I can be a better women for it. It took me another year to really pull away from drugs. I still think back on what happened and remember that IT WAS NOT MY DOING! I accepted the fact that It was my fault for the drugs but not for what happened.

I now have been clean for 5 yrs. I am a survivor in more ways than one. I have blessings on blessings now. I am happily married and baby on the way. It is true for what did not kill me made me stronger.

Family should be the basis of trust, love and harmony e.t.c.. However it does not always work out that way. I am not a relegious freak! I am however giving God the due credit he deserves because I just could have not done it without him. I use to have the attitude that if I could not trust my mom who could I trust? My answer, God myself and I the rest will come later. Once upon a time I would never share this out of shame. Now I am proud that I am not a statistic from suicide or death from drugs. Wow for some reason I really feel better thanks for reading. If I would of known that letting others know would lift a burden of family secrets I would of spilt the beans long ago. Blessings and thanks for reading again.

What a wretched Mother you have! But, I have to say, my mother has done the same thing. (Not with a husband, but with a boyfriend.) You just have to realize that you're obviously a better person than you're Mother, you're ex-husband and would be even better minus the methamphetamine and pot. Stay clean, stay happy. I hope you can eventually mend your relationship with your mother, but honestly, I never have. Good luck to you.
