Im 9 weeks and having major food aversions. Do these happen just in the first 3 months, when the sickness is there, or do they continue throughout the pregnancy?

They continue throughout and they will change as you go through pregnancy - so in your 5th month you might crave something you hated in your 1st month or you may have only been able to eat something in 1st month that you can't stand in 7th month.

Some women don't experience this but not me.. each month it seemed I had another food I did or didn't like... and some days I just knew I was hungry but had no idea wat I wanted so i just sat on the couch b*tching at my hubby that I was hungry..lol

I was extreamly sick and couldn't even smell food without throwing up for the first three months, it got better at about 14 weeks but I am 31 weeks now and i dont get sick by food I just am never hungry. I think it all depends on the person.

some come back but alot of the food aversions will stick with you as they make you think back to this time in your pregnancy and some stick for a long long time! still from my first pregnancy i know this isnt food but i still cant smell dolce and gabanna light blue and dolly girl perfume it just reminds me of my sick days and makes me want to throw up! x

It is different with every woman. I had sickness for 5 months in my first pregnancy and that included avoiding certain foods mainly because I couldn't stand how they smelled.

They continue... although along with not wanting certain things, you can't get enough of other things! I can't stop eating... but there are still foods I don't want to think about!
