No you cannot, Alcohol has a drug interaction with Lexapro.
Almost any drug that treats depression or anxiety will have this interaction, so it would be good to keep this in mind if sometime in the future your prescription was changed.
Oh, and I'm a Pharmacy Student :)

I have answered this question before. No, but if you do... I do have one or two glasses of wine, with dinner, very infrequently, maybe every three months, especially if I am having a nice dinner out. Occasionally, one beer after cutting the grass in the summertime.
I do take Lexapro and have been for a few years now. I asked my doctor this question and told her that I do have a drink as I mentioned above. Very, very few. Maybe eight a year.
One of the reasons that you should not drink with Lexapro is because these types of drugs are hard on your liver. So is alcohol. An alcoholic on Lexapro could be a dangerous consequence to their liver, not to mention other problems that I don't know about.

I dont take lexapro and I am not a doctor but I will give you MY experience :) I do take an anti depressant/anti anxiety pill and Ive noticed that it takes a hell of a lot more to get me drunk and its almost always happy drunk...Its been a long time since I got the sleepy drunks or the crying drunks. I'd be careful and take it easy though until you know how YOUR body will react :)

While you shouldnt consume alcohol while taking any medication, the side effects for lexapro include increasing dizzyness and drowsiness as well it may affect your condition. This medication is used for depression and general anxiety disorder. Alcohol itself is a depressant.

No. You shouldn't drink while taking any antidepressant. Alcohol makes you depressed. Kinda defeats the whole purpose, dontcha think?
