A full share, which is what would be given to most players, was worth about $325,000 when the White Sox won last year. This year's shares are likely to be in the same range. The pool from which the shares come from is based on % of the gate receipts from the first three games of the division series and 60% from the first four games of the later rounds. These funds are broken down to the playoff teams, with teams getting more money the further they advance.
