If you recall on your DOG-TAGS your information to identify you in case you payed the ultimate price for your country also had your religious identity so your remains would be honorably dealt with based on your religious cultures and beliefs which the Military would honor; The V.A. has no right or authority to deny you your Religious preference in any form what-so-ever and have to honor your beliefs as so did the Military. You and I and all Veterans like us served our country to protect the American peoples Freedom and our Rights. They do not have the authority to deny you your right to believe in your religion or cause you to be unfaithful to your religion for that is UNAMERICAN. WE SERVED HONORABLY and we earned our rights at great costs.

One cannot be hypnotised against one's will. If you are an unwilling participent, then entering a state of hypnosis will be impossible. Here is a website explaining what hypnosis actually is. A lot of people are confused by what they see in movies and television but real hypnosis is much different.

http://www.hypnosis.com/faqs.aspx

A quote from the website "To me, the most accurate way of defining hypnosis is to simply call it "guided meditation." Since many of us enter a meditative or "trance" state while listening to music, watching TV, listening to a good speaker or a good sermon at church, or even while reading, you could say that the hypnotist does not even have to be a live person."

Also, here is a question and answer page about EMDR. It is sometimes very useful in dealing with traumatic situations.

Hope this information helps and you get better soon.

Well your rights are just that your rights, No one can make you go through this sort of experiment, So If your Faith is strong then stand up to what you believe in and make your rights known, Other wise if you where to go through this then they (the VA) would look at you as having NO RIGHTS, and they (VA) would view your beliefs as NON IMPORTANCE TO THEM OR YOU. Because you did not Stand up for your RIGHTS. Now if you are force into doing this sort of thing that your faith is against and you do not wish to be put through this sort of thing, THEN IT SHOULD BECOME A LEGAL RIGHT. Hope that helps

I think the first question would be, "Are you being forced to see the doctor?" Are either of these treatments being forced on you? Or are these the recommend treatments for PTSD you're being given?

It's possible that your return to service is conditional upon some treatment for PTSD but it's worth investigating if these are your only options.

Though they may be able to order you to take the tests they cannot make you sign the release of information. Be forewarned they'll tell you the release is so they can perform the tests, it is not. No release is required to perform the tests your cooperation is evidence of your willingness and acceptance.

Don't get hypnotised.

Really! Living life without fixating on rights makes life less difficult.

You never have to participate in any test you don't want to.

What are the supposed consequences of NOT doing the test?

What faith is that? My faith (the TJD religion) says that I don't have to pay taxes. IRS thinks otherwise.

Unless you are mentally incompetent, you have the right to determine what procedures you have done to you.
