When you grow up you'll know the difference (right now you're too fixated on the physical aspect, anyway. Why else would you have this name and your IM addy?? Fixated!).

Loving someone is when you care about their well being. Being in love with someone is when you have a need for their essence, when you feel that this person is worth your energy, your life and the very core of you. You have such feelings for this person that you will sacrifice everything to ensure their security. It's not all about the fuzzy, warm feelings. Being in love with someone brings integrity and devotion into the picture. We all make mistakes, but when it comes to being in love with someone, you give them your heart, mind and soul. It's poured from your very hand into theirs. There is a want and a need to give and receive endless passion and intimacy as well. It's not all about sex either. Intimacy and passion come in different forms.

loving someone, like loving a friend or may be a partner whome u have been with for so long and the flame just went off, and u still share deep respect, comfort and good feeling for him,but being in love is different , it is craving someone all the time and having no control on urself, not able to help thinking about him,and everything that comes with love.

I think the best way to describe it is being in love means you want to be with them , you want what they want , and the same goes for them , You get that feeling every time they touch you. You think about things they have said or done and it makes you smile . Loving someone is like loving your Grandma , sister , friend. You care deeply

Its all Love. The "in love" thing is not really love but more infatuation.

The phrase "I love you but I'm not in love with you" means that you may care about the other person but not sexually. Its the line women use as an excuse for infidelity 90% of the time.

Loving someone is like I love you, you are dear to my heart.

Being in-love is totally different. Being in-love means that you really lay down your life for them and you share the real you with them. Inspite of the fear.

Being in love is the first phase of love and then if you get into the second and possibly final phase of love you are loving someone.
Being in love can occur in days while loving someone takes time and emotional investment.
