This life that I've built, on these foundations of silt; I've turned my back to; so as not to see it all wash away. Yet still l heard it crash, from the rumble to the splash; and I thought not much of a price to pay. What value is land, all these things so pretty and grand; without the One who with me will pray, that all our days spent together will be sweetened by honey and heather; She's in my Heart now forever; and that's where for all time She'll stay. So then let the key turn and close the lock, they will be no turning back of this clock; I will be with Her in endless Love; time will suspend for us in the moment between night and the day. I must follow my Heart, I can not bear us apart; I need Her to be my Wife; She's why I breath and live life; come as it will and come as it may; in Love with Her I'll remain and in Love with Her for all time I'll stay.

Okay buddy. Nice poem. But here is the deal. The head needs to rule the heart. No matter how miserable it makes you, you need to jump in with your head in charge. It is the only way...

Great poem!

Depends on what you mean by "everything." Are you already married? If so, you are already committed. You promised something to her. Do you have kids? Are you walking away from them, too? Why on earth would you need to walk away from anything for love??

If the answer to the above is "no," then go for it!!!! And good luck to you both!!!! If it's "yes" then be honorable. Fix what you're in. And stop allowing yourself to have that kind of vulnerablility with anyone other than your spouse.

Very beautiful poem! I really don't see the connection with the question, though! If this is how you feel about someone....you should definitely marry them! LOL You had to ask??

WOW!! That is beautiful!

Yes I would drop everything I have and everything I know for love. Probably regret it later but none the less I would do it!
