I'm sorry you've become so cynical. I think there are many human beings with redeeming values. Most people I know or come in contact with, are generally kind, caring people. They love their families and friends . They try to give to charities or other fundraisers when they can . They think there is someone or something bigger than themselves. They all aren't working their own agendas. Many have integrity and aren't arrogant or self involved and they have compassion for their fellow human beings and other species as well.
Perhaps you've just gone through a bad stretch, don't let everyone put you in a black cynical spot.

thumbs. and we are good at change. Look at how much we think we have progressed. I would say Children would be our most redeeming quality. Look at a little baby and youll know what I mean. Second place would be the elderly. Talk with someone whos been through both world wars and the great depression. and youll know what I mean as well. As sinful as us humans are, we do have our moments. Live for those moments.

Many people do help and want to help others in there own way just because it is not covered on the news it doesnt mean it doesnt happen or they dont exsist
