I know the theory is true but what do you think? And no Idiot answers from people who haven't watched. If you haven't seen it and have or are a teen girl you should check it out.

It's completely believable. Most investigated cases of poltergeist activity end up being "caused" by a teenager's subconscious telekinetic activity. The wikipedia article on the Bell Witch doesn't mention anything about it being caused by Betsy, so this might have been added to the movie for sensational effect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bell_Witch

I haven't seen it yet, but I have read ALOT of books on hauntings in America from reputable people. Some stories are true from people that I have known all my life. I believe that alot could be true. Just don't think about it too much!!

It's very believable. I only live 20 minutes from the actual location. Movies tend to exagerrate the actual events. I think it's called poetic license.

my own experiences were nothing compared to the story behind the American Haunting. it is believable.

The ending was terrible. I'd have to see a ghost to believe in them.
