The Homeopathic Remedy ANACARDIUM treats schizophrenia and so do some other remedies it depends what symptoms the patient is showing to get to his or her correct remedy, which will treat and cure the person. Homeopathy treats the patient not the disease, the symptoms the person is showing is exactly how Homeopathy goes about treating and curing that specific person. For a Homeopathic precription you need to give the complete details of the patient, the name of the disease is more or less useless.
Take Care and God Bless you !

IF you go with a medical drug please be very aware of the fact that the side effect known as TARDIVE KENESIS is very real and that although practioners tend to play it down it is PERMANANT. It can vary in severity from an occassional tremor when over tired to an extreme where you can be mistaken for having severe Parkinson's disease or even Tourette's Syndrome. I know this because a very effective drug GEODON was prescribed for my child who was suicidal at the time. I knew the risks and discussed them with him and WE decided to take the risk. Unfortunately, he turned out to be in the small percentage whp do develop the "minor" muscular miscues. Our decision was based on the theory that it is better to be alive and shake than be still and dead LOL. That is also why we chose not to treat the shakes with DEPACOTE which is a seizure medication that can and does cause liver damage

If you have schizophrenia you should not attempt to self treat. You might look into the work of Abram Hoffer and Humphrey Osmand, but do not try to use their methods without professional guidance. Orthomolecular vitamin therapy has helped some people, but expert advice is needed to do it right.
