I have a question reguarding the termination of my job.I work for a vehicle inspection company.I moved out of state and stayed with the company, but after 3 weeks they ran out of work for me.He would periodically send me emails updating me on what was going on, when I should receive my company laptop that is a must(which I never got), and so on.I found out yesterday from a letter from my health ins. company that I have been terminated! When I called my boss, he sounded as if nothing happened. He told me as soon as I move back to my prev. address and can go back to my prev. work site, I will have my job back."I am a great worker and is happy to have me, but until I am back at the auction I have been terminated."I had no notice of termination, and according to my ins. company I was terminated 2 weeks ago!Not only is that, I believe illegal, but just outright rude.I have medical problems that need attention and a 4 yr old son.I am not sure what to do.My old boss is also taking action.

I sent emails weekly to my boss, asking if there was anything I needed to do and asking for updates. At no time did he mention that to keep my position I would need to move back to my previous address. I first emailed him, letting him know that I would be moving back and asked him if my position was still available. He said yes and to let let him know when. I told him as soon as he needed me to and I was ready to go. 4 days later I was terminated.

I worked completely alone, only communicating with dealerships and received excellent feedback from my boss and the vice pres. of the company I work for.

If they ran out of work for you, then they were right in letting you go but they should have informed out instead of leading you on. Try consulting a lawyer for legal advice.

in the event that they can't produce a letter of resignation, then you definately can document for unemployment reimbursement. have you ever certainly FILED for unemployment reimbursement? It would not seem such as you have. The Unemployment value will shelter all of that for you...your corporation isn't required to furnish you a letter of termination. they're going to ask the corporation to offer the letter of resignation to tutor their declare which you resigned...and whilst they can't tutor that, you would be waiting to get unemployment. they might desire to deal including your accident comparable to short-term incapacity...each and every corporation has felony limits to how long that they might desire to hold your interest open...in case you handed those, as chilly as that's, they're interior their felony rights to enable you flow--yet it extremely is seen quitting, and that's technically no longer a termination. despite the fact that, they might desire to pay you up on your final day worked, and that i might document a complaint with the exertions Board for unpaid wages. so a strategies as "the coverage won't hide the added wages"...I have no theory of what you're talking approximately. playstation : i might get yet another lawyer....it would not sound like the only you have is providing you with any advice which you will fairly use.

It is outright rude, however not really illegal, unless you are a black old person. The case is probably that you didn't get along with your fellow employees at the new location. If the manager knows that no one likes you and he is a dick, he will fire you. My advice is to move back to the old location, get your job back, and move on.

Was your employer an at will employer? Did you sign any type of employment contract making you an at will employee?

If either one or both of these are true then there isn't much you can do.

If they aren't true then go file for unemployment, because it doesn't appear that you were at fault by means of work related misconduct. ( unless of course you left something out of your story)

You need to get a lawyer, just like you are required to give a notice if you leave a job they have to give you one.
