You shouldn't. Why vote and then find out the people you voted for are totally opposed to what you believe and stand for.

Uninformed voters are stupid and dangerous.

What do you mean "not ready" to vote?

Is it that you haven't been paying attention to the issues? If that's the case, then I would say that perhaps you shouldn't vote...An uneducated vote may be worse than no vote at all.

I can't honestly think of any other reason for not voting that could be valid. It is not only your civic responsibility, but also one of the very few true privileges that we are given. Try to remember that you are lucky to be able to participate in the formation of your government...people all over the planet don't have it so good.

read, research and VOTE

Don't whine. Its a privilege to be able to vote.

I will be at the polls tomorrow at 7am...waiting for you.
I volunteer my time to make sure that your opinion is counted.
So if I value my time enough to spend it on you, the most you can do is show up for less than 10 minutes.

I only care that you are an active part of the world you live IN- I do not express my political opinion. Its all your choice.

Spend some time in a developing nation and you will be the first in line next year to vote! Be blessed you are an American.

Today-Men and Woman are dying for YOUR "rights and privileges" that you take for granted. Show some pride!

It does make me angry that people "voice" an opinion and are not brave enough to back it up with some "action". So in my eyes- "no vote equals no voice".

I agree with Dairyland: Get yourself ready? There is plenty of information on the net regarding each candidate that is running. If you don't research this, you are being lazy.

I know that the choices are pretty bleak and is like choose between tweedly-dum and tweedly-dummer, and that voting for an alternative party is like throwing your vote away at times, and there are time when your vote literally gets thrown away, but gee-gosh-golly this is our country. You have got to get yourself ready to vote and get yourself ready to change this country.

As a citizen of the USA it is your right to vote. It gives you a voice in running our country. If you do not vote you should not complain about the running of the country. It is your duty to learn about the issues and the people running for the different offices.

As much as I would like to tell you to vote Republican the whole way through. I still suggest that you turn off the TV, put down the newspaper and read & study the issues yourself before voting.

Go to www.congress.org or www.ontheissues.org

These sites will show you how they voted on key issues.

Well then get ready. It's not like you need to train up for a marathon or anything, just pick a candidate that you agree with the most.

Then don't, just remember if you don't make a decision you don't get to ridicule those who did or the result. If you choose not to celebrate your right to vote then feel free not to celebrate your right of freedom of speech when you disagree with who wins or there actions.
