Seeing as how I am not an admirer of our current presidential administration either, let me enlighten you as to why E-85 is not widespread available.

First off, the tecnology has been around for years to run a vehicle off of alcohol. Ask any old bootlegger. Cars perform better, run cooler, and don't have as many problems when running on ethanol.

The reason that ethanol is not the fuel of choice is because we simply don't have enough farmland to raise all the corn it would take to fuel our entire country. It also costs comparably more to produce a gallon of ethanol than it does gasoline.

So in short, I do not believe we will see E85 as a viable option for our increasing fuel demands in the near future, under any presidential administration. It just simply costs too much.

Its a form of fuel that is much more energy efficient and cleaner, therefore better for the environment. It isnt available widespread because there arent many vehicles yet that can utilize it, and as put above, our current administration profits greatly from the sale of oil products, specifically gasoline. If you can find it and have a car to use it in, I would recommend it because it will be cheaper in the long run and it is better for everyone, health wise. And to answer the initial question, its 85% Ethenol, 15% gasoline.

It is Bush's worst nightmare. That is why we don't have it readily available, he would lose money if it was. The good of Bush outweighs the good of the many.
